This guide will help you set up, edit and customize your HONEYLAB Head. You do not need to read every section.

💡 Photoshop & Gimp

The PSD was made with Photoshop in mind and works best there. If you don't have Photoshop, Photopea is a free alternative that can open and edit many of the files. It doesn't support all of Photoshop's features, but it's a good option if you're just getting started.

💡 Transparent Blush & Eyebrows

I created different fully textured eyebrow options and matched them to the VRBase skintones.

For example:

• Transparent 6 ➜ Skin Texture 6

This helps keep the blush and eyebrows looking correct across the different skintones.

If you'd like a different eyebrow color, such as black brows from Transparent 6 on Skin Texture 1, open both textures Transparent 1 and Transparent 6 in Photoshop. Than cut the Transparent 6 eyebrow section and paste it on top of Transparent 1 and save your new texture.

💡 Texture Resolution & Optimization All textures are provided in 4K and 2K. If you'd like to optimize your avatar further, you can resize any textures you're using to a lower resolution. I chose to provide the textures in 4K so you have the highest level of detail available and can decide what works best for your workflow.

💡 Add-On Materials For optimization purposes, the horns, emotes and piercings were packed into the Head texture. If you prefer, you can separate them into their own materials and customize them however you'd like. You're free to choose the setup that works best for you!
